8th Convocation

The 8th Convocation of Southeast University is being planned for the last week of February 2025 for students who completed their degree requirements from Spring 2019 to Fall 2023.

How to Apply

3 simple steps to attend convocation ceremony.

Login to UMS

Use your student code and password to log in to the SEU UMS. If you forget your password, use the "forgot password" option to recover it using your mobile/email.

Fill Application Form

Fill your basic information, contact details, current status and passport-sized picture. You may need to upload a scanned copy of your Provisional Certificate if you have taken it.

Payment

Complete your required payment using any mobile banking, credit/debit card, or internet banking. You can also make a direct payment to the bank or booth at the University lobby.

Registration Deadline

Seats are limited, so registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis. The registration panel will close automatically when all seats are filled.

Registration Start: 15 October 2024

Registration Deadline: 30 November 2024

Extended Deadline: 15 December 2024

Single Degree Registration Fee: 7,000 TK

Double Degree Registration Fee: 8,000 TK

Per Accompany Person (Maximum 2): 1,000 TK (Children are not allowed)

Eligible Graduates

Students (both undergraduates and graduates) who have completed all degree requirements between Spring 2019 and Fall 2023 are eligible.

Complete all outstanding due

Return any overdue books or library fines

Provide all required documents to the admission office

Photo Specification

Your uploaded photo will be included in the convocation souvenir book. Select your most recent formal, appropriate and good quality picture.

Minimum 2.25" wide, 3" height and 300 dpi preferred

Must be color photograph

No props, hats, hoods, pets, etc. should be included in the photo

Indoor, with a solid white background is suggested

Do not cut the head/hairline at the top of the photo

Only head and shoulders will be in the souvenir book

Payment Procedure

Complete the required payment to apply for the convocation.

Credit/Debit Card

You can make the convocation fee payment using any credit/debit card through the SSLCommerz payment gateway. Please note that the payment gateway may charge an additional fee.

Bank Payment

You can deposit the convocation fee directly at the listed bank by visiting the mentioned branch or through Internet Banking before filling out the form. Make sure that you have mentioned your student code in the deposit slip.

Booth Payment

You can pay the convocation fee at the booth located in the University lobby before filling out the form using the deposit slip or money receipt generated from UMS. Make sure that you have mentioned your student code in the deposit slip.
